Today the wax image of Zac Efron was unveiled at Madame Tussauds New York. The figure is on loan from Madame Tussauds Las Vegas for 3 months. Zac joins fellow Disney stars Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers at the New York attraction.

Paramount Pictures has issued a statement that backs up yesterday’s rumors. “Zac Efron is no longer attached to the upcoming film.” says the statement. Zac has been part of the Footloose re-make plan since the summer of 2007.
