Bid on a Backstage Pass

If you have the money-you can bid on a backstage pass to meet Corbin Bleu! He is auctioning off 2 tickets to an upcoming Corbin Bleu concert and the opportunity to have a backstage meet and greet with him. Corbin is doing this to help support Selena Gomez’ Charity Island Dog.

The auction is on Charity Buzz and will be accepting bids through March 31st. Even if you can’t afford to bid on the meet and greet, check out Island Dog and see what you can do to help.

Speed of Light

Calling all North American Corbin fans! This Tuesday is the big day. Corbin’s new album “Speed of Light” will be on store shelves in the US and Canada on Tuesday.
Here is a link to a video of Corbin in the studio 2/3/09 writing one of the songs on the new album. This is a link to a Myspace interview Corbin did about “Speed of Light”. Album release dates for other parts of the world include 3/12 Argentina, 3/24 Brazil, 4/16 United Kingdom and Europe, and 6/10 in Japan. Corbin in Oakland

Corbin Bleu will be performing LIVE after each High School Musical: The Ice Tour show at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, Ca from March 4th until March 8th. If you don’t already have tickets there are still some available. I checked Ticketmaster and StubHub and they are both showing available seats so get your tickets today!

Saturday 2/21/09 HSM hottie Corbin Bleu will be celebrating his 20th birthday!

Corbin started his career in commercials at age 2. By 4 he was dancing and modeling and at age 6 is appeared in an off-broadway play. At the age of 7 Corbin’s family moved to LA and Corbin has kept working ever since. If you want to wish Corbin a Happy Birthday you can call him at (818) 641-1600 and leave him a message. Corbin and the NBA

High School Musical star Corbin Bleu will be performing live during NBA All-Star weekend. Corbin is the half-time entertainment for Saturday’s T-Mobile Rookie Challenge. The Rookie Challenge is an exciting game played between the NBA’s top freshman and sophomore players. A team of 9 rookies including Eric Gordon and Marc Gasol play a special rules game againt a team of 8 2nd year players including Kevin Durant and Al Thornton. The game will be played February 13th at the US Airways Center in Phoenix and will be televised at 9pm ET on TNT.

Friday, February 6, 2009 Corbin will be at the Build-a-Bear Workshop in the Town Center at Cobb in Kennesaw, GA from 4-6pm.

Sunday, February 8, 2009 Corbin will be at the Washington DC Auto Show at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. While there Corbin will be a judge for the “Dancing for Toyota” competition from 3:00-4:15pm.

Corbin Bleu and Justin Martin Serve Up Lunch

High School Musical stars Corbin Bleu (Chad Danforth) and Justin Martin (Donny Dion) served up lunch at a California elementary school on Friday. This star-studded lunch was part of a prize package from Sara Lee’s Soft and Smooth Lunchtime is Showtime video contest. The winner Bronwyn Arnold, and 11 year old singer and songwriter, wrote the song in the winning video and recruited 120 of her school mates to participate in the video titled “Fueled for Fun”. You can watch the video on the Sara Lee site here. In addition to the lunch time appearance Bronwyn received a year’s supply of Sara Lee Soft and Smooth bread and a $25,000 grant for her school to use to help bring joy to the lunchroom.

While at the school Bleu shared that, “Justin and I feel it is so important to encourage good nutrition habits at a young age. We teamed up with Sara Lee because they understand the importance of making nutrition easy and tasy for kids.”
